Can they be any type of cats? What if they were bobcats? I feel as if this gives the question a whole new meaning.

                    My Take…

                    • If the 34 dogs are small breeds, the Maine Coons could absolutely dominate. They’re bigger, stronger, and more agile. The dogs wouldn’t stand a chance.

                    • If the dogs are medium to large breeds, things get trickier. The cats could still inflict serious damage with their claws and agility, but they’d struggle against a coordinated attack.

                    • If the dogs are aggressive, trained fighters (like pit bulls or German shepherds), then even Maine Coons would be outmatched just by sheer numbers and strength.

In conclusion, If the dogs are small to medium-sized, the Maine Coons could actually pull off a victory—especially if they use their agility and high ground. But if the dogs are large and aggressive, the numbers game wins, and the dogs take it.

I think there are a number of medium and small breeds that, with the proper training and coordination. Could do quite well against the small number of cats on the field.

Are these old dogs? The inability to learn new tricks could play a big role in the downfall of those dirty dogs.

All different ages hard to say. Part of what makes the question as a whole so difficult.
